The new CD by Jon Gilbert Leavitt, 1919, was officially released October 1,
2008. The new music brings to life the raw emotion and idyllic escapism that
was Weimar-era Germany, beginning in 1919 and ending with the onset of
National Socialism and the second World War.

Composed and produced by Jon Gilbert Leavitt (JGLsongs LLC), much of the
music is also to be featured in the New York stage debut of ³Oh, Those
Beautiful Weimar Girls,² opening Nov. 19, 2008 at the CSV (Clemente Soto
